Movies » Abduction

Classes were suspended in our school today because of 'minor damage' due to the recent typhoon. My sister's classes were also cancelled the whole day so we decided to watch Abduction, starring the ever-hot Taylor Lautner (as you can clearly see) alongside Lily Collins. It's an action movie, not a horror one, like the title suggests. It's not too boyish, even if it's action. I absolutely loved every minute of the movie, as there's always some action going on. Nathan Price (Taylor Lautner) suddenly finds out that his parents are not really his when he saw his baby picture on a missing persons website. And suddenly there are people after him. He goes on the run with his friend with nobody to trust except each other.

So, I woke up at seven am to the sound of the wind howling. I slept at around twelve yesterday night, which means I only had seven hours of sleep. I couldn't sleep again so I got out of bed. Around an hour later the power went out. And do you know how long the brownout lasted? The whole freaking day! It only came back a little over a while ago, at eight pm. I had seriously nothing to do so I just reread my books all day long. I would have opted for texting instead of reading but there was crappy or no signal at all. Well, except for the part where my friend called me and we talked for nearly an hour. I'm currently loving SNSD's Into the New World. I think it was their debut song but, who cares if it's over three years old? A great song will never get old.

Hiya. I haven't posted in over a month - usual reason: school. *rolls eyes* I'm going to skip the part where I apologize for neglecting my beloved blog and go straight to the point - which, in this case, is the new TV show The Secret Circle. It's based on a book by L.J. Smith, author of the very-awesome The Vampire Diaries series. While TVD is all about vampires and werewolves, witches take the spotlight on The Secret Circle. I haven't read the book version yet, but after watching two episodes of the show I'm thinking of rushing to the nearest bookstore and delving myself into the books. The show is about a sixteen-year-old girl named Cassie Blake whose mother recently died in what people believe as simply an accident. Because of this, she has to move into her mother's hometown and stay with her grandmother. She quickly makes new friends and soon learns secrets about her family's history and also the history of the town's other witches. It currently has two episodes so far and airs every Thursday on The CW. I'm definitely hooked on this, even if I'm not that big a fan of witches. Plus, it's got a great cast.

Damn...
I'm so lame. I just created new accounts on Twitter and Tumblr and I'm still trying to get used to it...I couldn't even figure out to change my profile picture.
Anyway, I have a piece of advice for you people: Don't ever do your written assignment when you have a running nose. I was doing mine and while I was in the middle of it, my nose was dripping and I had to constantly run to the bathroom and wipe it! It was so annoying.
After finishing my homework I packed my bag and I got so irritated that I stuck two rolled-up tissue up my nose!

P.S. I'm not that girl (if that's what you're thinking).
